The three-step pet portrait process
Step 1
Inquiry & initial chat
To take the exciting leap and book your pet’s session, the first thing to do is to reach out through the contact page. You can expect a phone call from us to chat more about yourself, your pet, and your vision and recommend the services and products that will best suit your needs. We will also talk lots about your furbaby, your bond, and what’s most important to you in enjoying your memories and images together. At that time, we’ll get your session on the books along with your session's non-refundable retainer fee payment and work on creating something special for you and your furbaby.

photo session day
The day is here! At this time, we will meet at the location previously agreed (studio/outdoor or both) and work at your pet’s pace until we have captured the emotions, moments, and meaningful details most integral to your bond. Your session will usually last between one to two hours, depending on your furbaby, the session, and the location. Then you’ll get your in-person Ordering Appointment time on the calendar, and the day is done! You and your best friend get to go home and relax while we get to work on your images.

This exciting appointment is your chance to purchase your favorite memories and artwork from your session! From a custom photo album to commemorate your pup’s favorite activities to wall portraits as sweet and grand as your love for them, and more, this is your opportunity to see and choose everything that you love from your furbaby’s portraits.
I will be there with you through the entire appointment to help assist you in the selection process - guiding you through your product and design requests, giving recommendations, and answering your questions.
FAQ
01. My dog is super energetic and never sits still. Can we still do a portrait session?
Absolutely! Your dog’s energy is never a problem. In fact, it’s part of what makes them so special! They’re welcome to explore and check out their new surroundings—most pets do, and they usually settle down after a bit. But even if your pup stays playful and bouncy the whole time, don’t worry! I’ve got plenty of tricks (and treats!) to grab their attention and capture stunning, personality-filled photographs.
02. I have multiple pets—can they all be in the photos together?
Of course! I’ll start by photographing each pet individually, giving them their moment to shine in the spotlight. Once we’ve got those shots, I’ll photograph them together. If your furry friends aren’t quite on the same page about posing together, no worries—I can work some Photoshop magic to create a stunning composite image of your pets side by side.
03. My dog can't be off-leash outside. Is that a problem?
Not at all! Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I always follow local leash laws. Unless we’re in a secure, enclosed area, your dog will remain on a leash throughout the session. The good news? I can expertly edit leashes out of your final images so you’ll still have beautiful, natural-looking portraits to treasure.
04. Do you photograph people as well?
Absolutely—but there’s one rule: you’ve got to bring a pet along! 🐾
I always encourage pawrents to step in front of the camera with their furry kids. Even if you’re not a big fan of being photographed, most of my clients end up cherishing the images that capture their special bond. These are the photos that only grow more meaningful over time.

05. Will I receive digital files?
Absolutely! You’ll get the best of both worlds—digital files AND stunning artwork—because you deserve both!
While digital files are perfect for sharing on social media or setting as your phone's home screen, there’s something truly special about physical artwork. You won’t smile every time you pass a folder of files on your computer, but you will when you walk by your dog’s beautiful portrait on the wall. Flipping through a photo album brings those cherished moments to life—you can almost feel the warmth of their fur after a sunny afternoon or the softness of their body as you snuggled in the grass.
That’s why all of my collections include high-resolution digital files, so you can share your pet’s cuteness everywhere and enjoy timeless physical artwork that brings those memories to life.
